As a child I dreamt of working as a photographer, at the age of 12 I finally got hold of a Kodak Brownie and after graduation in photography in London I worked in studios there. Photography is not only my profession but also my passion.
In all my projects quality has always been my most important goal, starting with the preparation and organization of the photoshoots and ending up with the final image. I work for companies, agencies, medias, artists, and also for private people. I appreciate this mixture, am glady part of a team, and I especially like to work with young people and exchange experiences with them.
People say that my various life situations influence my photography. I am an Indian, born in Tamil Nadu, later studied in England and have been living in Germany since 1975. I assume that these different cultures have reflected the way I see people, nature, and things.
I love being a photographer and cannot imagine being anything else. But at the end the day its the results that count – herewith a few examples.
Als Fotograf zu arbeiten war schon als Kind mein Traum, mit 12 bekam ich endlich meine erste Kodak Brownie. Dann Jobs in Studios, Studium und jetzt ist Fotografie mein Beruf und meine Passion.
Bei allen Projekten ist Qualität mein wichtigstes Ziel, das beginnt mit der Vorbereitung und Organisation der Shootings bis zum fertigen Motiv. Ich arbeite für Agenturen, Firmen, Medien, Künstler und für Privatpersonen, diese Mischung gefällt mir. Gerne fühle ich mich als Teil eines Teams und gerne arbeite ich zusammen mit jungen Menschen, denen ich meine Erfahrungen austausche.
Man sagt, dass sich meine verschiedenen Lebensstationen in meiner Fotografie zeigen. Ich bin Inder, geboren in Tamil Nadu, dann Schule und Studium in England, seit 1975 lebe ich in Deutschland. Vermutlich haben diese verschiedenen Kulturen Einfluss darauf, wie ich Menschen, Natur und Dinge sehe und wahrnehme, das wirkt sich natürlich auch auf meine Arbeit aus.
Ich bin mit Leib und Seele Fotograf und kann mir keinen anderen Beruf vorstellen. Aber am Ende zählen die Resultate – davon habe ich einige Beispiele ausgesucht.
